Festivals are a great way to understand one’s culture. Tiny tots of Shri Ram Global School celebrated Ganesh Chaturthi on 6th September,2024. In the spirit of occasion the students made beautiful Ganesha masks. Our children worked with intricacy and dexterity on masks , assimilating the different parts of the mask and were all thrilled and excited seeing the final masks . They looked splendid as they posed with their colourful , handcrafted masks. They were explained about the significance of of the festival. This activity helped to create a memorable and holistic learning experience.

 

As we embraced the theme of the tricolor this August, the vibrant energy and creative spirit among the children of Shri Ram Global School were truly inspiring. Students engaged in various group activities, such as tip printing a picture of India Gate, bitter gourd printing to create the national bird, and hand printing to form a banyan tree. These artistic exercises not only enhanced their fine motor skills but also fostered a sense of camaraderie and social connection, helping students build meaningful relationships.

Students enjoyed mixing red and yellow to create the color orange, experiencing the excitement of color discovery. These activities provided a playful environment for children to explore their artistic abilities while nurturing a sense of unity, pride, and shared purpose among them.

Festivals are the perfect opportunities to instill traditional values among children. On August 22,2024, on the occasion of Janmashtami our little ones went on an educational trip to the ISKCON temple. The students viewed various sculptures of lord Krishna in the galleries leading to the main temple, which depicted different leelas of Lord Krishna, helping them learn about His life. The temple’s intricate designs enthralled the young students . They were captivated by the temple’s magnetic aura as they danced and recited the mantra ‘Hare Rama…Hare Krishna’. The children also enjoyed the prasadam. It was an enlightening experience for the students, one they will carry with them.

The tiny tots of Shriram Global School, Delhi West, had a mesmerizing day singing, dancing, splashing water, and floating paper boats, enjoying the playful rainy weather. They were all decked out in colorful raincoats, holding beautiful umbrellas. Laughter and rhymes echoed in the school grounds as they danced their hearts out.

Teachers made them aware of the things used in the rainy season and the different animals and insects found during this time with the help of beautiful pictures they drew in their files. This activity was full of fun and, at the same time, taught them to take care of their belongings, share, dress up, and wear shoes by themselves. The children had a gala time getting wet in the rain and eating snacks.

Planting trees is essential for the well-being of both present and future generations. Embracing this ethos, Shri Ram Global School, Delhi West, organized a Tree Plantation Programme. During this event, our enthusiastic young students planted saplings in the school garden.

The programme was a resounding success, raising awareness among the students about the crucial role trees play in our environment. The joy and pride on their faces after planting each sapling were truly inspiring.

The tree plantation activity at school exemplified our dedication to fostering a greener and more sustainable future.

The tiny tots of Shri Ram Global School celebrated ‘Mango Day’ on July 5, 2024. The little cherubs enjoyed a delightful tearing and pasting activity and looked adorable in their mango-themed headgears. The children learned about different varieties of mangoes and the various delicious products made from them.

The purpose of celebrating Mango Day was to raise awareness among the students about the importance of eating mangoes. It was a wonderful and enriching learning experience for all.

Shri Ram Global School, Delhi West, celebrated a special day dedicated to understanding emojis. The teachers introduced the tiny tots to the meanings of various emojis, such as happy, sad, angry, and astonished, through a fun and interactive activity. The students created emoji masks and added unique accessories like hats, bows, and goggles to make them more attractive.

This engaging celebration not only filled the day with fun but also helped the children develop their communication and creative skills.

Shri Ram Global School celebrated ‘Yellow Colour Month,’ wherein the tiny tots were engaged in a plethora of activities such as “I Am Yellow,” “Magic of Floating and Sinking Lemons,” “My Yellow Thank You Card,” yellow thumb printing smileys, and coloring and pasting. The children were not only dressed up in their favourite yellow dresses but also brought their favorite yellow toys, flowers, and different yellow objects every Wednesday to speak about them. Students participated enthusiastically in the ‘Show and Tell’ activity, making the learning environment interactive and active. The yellow color board was the center of attention for the tiny SRGians. The motive of celebrating the yellow color was to help the kids recognize yellow, develop fine motor skills, and build confidence.

“Let’s say no to plastic and yes to paper bags!”echoed through the halls as our enthusiastic tiny tots from grades FY2 and FY3 spread their message of sustainability. Moving from class to class, these young advocates showcased their creativity by designing and decorating beautiful, eco-friendly paper bags.

This engaging activity not only highlighted the versatile uses and environmental benefits of paper bags but also instilled a sense of responsibility and awareness in our students. By learning about the impact of their choices on the environment, the children developed a lasting appreciation for sustainable practices and the importance of reducing plastic waste. This initiative left an indelible mark on their young minds, inspiring them to become conscientious stewards of our planet.

At Shri Ram Global School, DW , our students of Grade Preprimary recently engaged in a delightful celebration of friendship, showcasing their creativity and enthusiasm through a variety of imaginative activities.

The festivities included crafting vibrant friendship bands and creating unique friendship capsules, each piece reflecting the students’ artistic flair and heartfelt sentiments. Collaborative craft projects highlighted the theme of friendship, allowing the children to work together and express their appreciation for one another.Students also wrote sincere letters to their friends, capturing the essence of their bonds in heartfelt words. A storytelling session further enriched the day, emphasizing the profound value of friendship and the joy it brings.The highlight of the event was the class party, where the tiny tots enjoyed sharing food and laughter, embodying the values of sharing and caring. It was heartwarming to see the students eagerly exchanging tokens of friendship, creating lasting memories and strengthening their connections.

This celebration was more than just an event ,it was a testament to the importance of friendship, teamwork, and creativity. Through these activities, our students not only had fun but also learned valuable life lessons that will stay with them for years to come.
